Vehicle Description 1966 MUSTANG 2+2 FAMOUS FASTBACK DESIGN THAT IS RESTORED WITH UNMOLESTED BODY PRESENTING 'AS FACTORY' BUILD, STRIKING CANDYAPPLE RED WITH DARK RED INTERIOR, FACTORY DOOR DATA TAG, ORIGINAL 67,000 MILE CHASSIS, REBUILT DATED CORRECT 289cid-V8, DATED HEADS, GREAT COMPRESSION, C-4 AUTOMATIC, UPRATED NEW DUAL ALUMINIZED EXHAUST, GT FOGLIGHTS, 1965 STYLED STEEL WHEELS, BRAND NEW RADIAL BLACK WALLS 1966 Mustang 2+2 Fastback, restored 'as factory' to really top Driven Show condition, outstanding CandyApple Red exterior with terrific paint and just outstanding luster, has just really great body work, proper dark red standard interior, this is confirmed 'as factory produced' with original data tag, has a really wonderful great black painted underchassis, the power is from the proper and dated 289cid/V8, very strong, great compression of 142 to 151 lbs.
psi, even dated heads, proper dated Autolite 2100 2v carburetor, set on the C6 intake manifold, brand new Cobra chrome air cleaner, also has the brand new Ford '289 Performance finned valve covers, brand new 2 dual aluminized exhaust system and mufflers just being installed, has the C-4 automatic transmission, believed original chassis with but 67,000 proper mileage plus the previous and then the new restoration work, this came from a collection from a longtime friend and serious car guy in the same state, Virginia, where the DSO of Richmond was sent to when originally built, has very hard to get 1965 Styled Steel Chrome wheels with the red center caps and chrome lug nuts, brand new 195/75R14 Kumho Solus blackwall performance radial tires blackwall performance radials, the great red interior that is believed to be as factory originally produced, has the proper red carpet and red dash and the factory red steering wheel, red safety belts, chrome driver side mirror, set up with the front GT fog lights, just really an outstanding body and great sheet metal about the car as being factory correct, see www.
