Insurance Account Representative

Joe Paul State Farm is growing rapidly and is looking for talented candidates who are interested in an entry level position or are ready to take their career to the next level as an Insurance Account Representative here at my office in Roswell, Georgia.
This position will be open to new and recent college graduates and will be a full time position. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work directly with the Agent and Field Leadership, and will learn valuable skills and experience in a top performing insurance and financial services agency.
The selected candidate will work with the Agent and others to develop, execute, manage and evaluate a business development and marketing strategy in our market area. Additionally, the selected candidate will have direct access to the Agent to gain real world experience in a number of areas including: marketing, product knowledge, sales, management, recruiting, administrative, finances and banking, entrepreneurship, developing key business relationships, developing a successful business plan and much more.
Your daily activities will include:
Providing exceptional service to potential and existing customers
Maintaining product knowledge and sales skills in order to communicate the proper benefits
Following up with potential customers using a systematic approach and best practices to earn their business and maximize the return on our marketing investment
Generating outbound activities to potential and existing customers to solicit for new and additional products and services
Learning and executing a proven marketing and business development strategy
Following up with new customers using a systematic approach that is designed to enhance the value, experience and strengthen the relationship with Joe Paul State Farm as the premier provider of insurance and financial services in our market area

An ideal candidate will have excellent verbal, written and listening skills. They will be computer literate, self motivated and after their training, be capable in executing their work and accomplishing their sales and performance goals with minimal management. This position will require the successful candidate to obtain and maintain their Georgia Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance licenses, maintain ongoing continuing education as required and successfully complete the required internal sales training and courses.
Compensation will include a base salary plus commission, bonus and benefit package that will allow a successful candidate to earn between $35,000 and $100,000 their first year. Top performers will be eligible for enhanced training and may be selected for agency growth and development opportunities where total compensation can easily exceed $1,000,000 annually.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
