Pest Control Technician

Structural Pest Control certification as required by federal and state regulations. Categories 28, 29 and/or 30
Valid Driver's License
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND Responsibilities:
Call customers to confirm scheduled services.
Drive company vehicle to customers' houses.
Apply pesticides to structures according to schedule, safety procedures, and label instructions.
Complete required production forms at end of daily route.
Respond on a timely basis to customers' requests for telephone and in-person service calls.
Maintain vehicle and equipment in clean and proper operating condition.
Assist in sales to current customers through contact on route.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to understand and effectively relay concerns of customers to management.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
