M-F Rounds 7am, OR days M-Thursday.
POSITION DETAILS Neurosurgery/Acute Care (NP/PA)Setting:
Inpatient/OPPatient volume:
5-10 / Average daily admissions (if applicable) 1-2 patients per day, when on call.
Note - Most patients are admitted to the ICU or Hospitalist team and not directly to the primary neurosurgery team.
Required Procedures:
100% Adult, APP will assist with inpatient rounding, notes, and orders; assist the operating room for cranial and spinal procedures; assist with OP clinic visits and notes.
Support Staff:
2 APPs, CMA and RN clinical support in practice.
EMR:
EpicClient requirements:
NCCPA certified (PA), first assist surgical experience is a must, general neurosurgery/OR experience required.
