We are seeking a Physician Services Coordinator/ Medical Assistant to work at our Residential Treatment Center in Roswell, GA (Atlanta).

Responsibilities:
The Physician Services Coordinator assists physicians and other medical staff in day to day scheduling inpatient and outpatient visits, supporting medical staff in the use of database technology and electronic medical records, compliance auditing, and management of patient urine screenings.
Works effectively with the facility leadership team to ensure success of the facility by completing the following; Job Duties:
Scheduling daily Physician and Nurse Practitioner visits (i.
e.
keeping a spreadsheet, adjusting for level of care changes, ensuring appropriate number of visits occur, coordinating with billing/finance).
Following up to ensure notes are complete/signed.
Scheduling patient visits and assisting them prior to their appointments.
Support the medical staff with the electronic medical record.
Helping to ensure MD/NP workflow is kept constant with coordination of getting patients to the MD/ DO/ NP providers.
Auditing discharge summary compliance.
Helping to manage weekly urine screenings and maintaining data as needed.
Working with UR on scheduling MD to MD reviews as needed.
Working with Medical Director to set up call and other coverage schedules.
Gathering data for QA and other data needs.
Receiving/organizing and pre-populating short term disability paperwork.
Assisting with discharge process (getting medications prepared).
Maintain Suboxone spreadsheet per DEA requirements as applicable.
Assisting in orienting new medical staff (EMR, tour, etc).
Maintaining the physician handbook.
Reporting any concerns to immediate supervisor.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement Advanced Recovery Systems requires all employees who work in any facility or office to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, pregnancy, or religious belief that prevents them from being vaccinated.
High School diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's Degree in a health services related field preferred.
Minimum one year in a healthcare setting; If currently an employee of ARS, must have worked a minimum of 6 months in an ARS treatment center.
Medical Assistant (MA) preferred.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
