Security Engineer at SiteOne Landscape Supply in Roswell, GA
Position Overview This position is for a highly motivated individual to join a specialized security team to manage and maintain our security programs across SiteOne. KEY FACTORS FOR SUCCESS:
Serve in both governance/oversight roles as well as operational responsibilities Support existing security technologies, programs and controls Lead enterprise security projects implementing new security technologies, programs and controls Coordinate with 3rd party vendors in support of new and existing technology implementations and maintenance Serve as a point of escalation for security incidents, tickets and rotation Collect and presenting security metrics/dashboards Facilitate completion of security initiatives with IT and non-IT business units Perform proactive threat hunting and risk investigations Participate and contribute to annual risk assessment exercise Skills We Are Seeking Interface well with business associates as well as technology staff and vendors Understand the CISSP security domains Understand OSI layers, network protocols (IP, ICMP, TCP, UDP), network services (DNS, DHCP, HTTP), routing protocols Experience with Windows, Unix and Linux Operation Systems Experience with SOX and PCI-DSS processes and control reviews Knowledge and experience with Security tools (e.g. antivirus, firewalls, remote access, IAM, SIEM) Experience with any of the following is a plus:
LogRhythm, Okta, Palo Alto, Varonis, Proofpoint, Kenna, Nessus, AirWatch, Cisco/Meraki, Crowdstrike, Akamai. Independent self-starter, proactive and professional assertive. Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and computer literacy. Proficiency with MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Solid verbal/written skills and presentation skills and ability to multitask. Strong customer service focus and attention to detail Hands-on experience with 802.1X authentication protocol and MAC Authentication Bypass (MAB). Understanding of VPN technologies, security protocols and supporting technologies such as IPSec, SSL, PKI, EAP, RADIUS, LDAP, etc. Understanding of email authentication standards - SPF, DKIM, DMARC. Strong network background and hands-on experience implementing security configurations on network access devices. EDUCATION AND
Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience) 5
years of security experience CISSP, CISA, CISM, or other industry certifications preferred. PERKS:

Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
