Position Overview The Manager, Branch Design & Estimating works within the Real Estate Department to help create site designs and estimates for new construction, relocation construction, remodel of existing facilities and manage design standards for all branches in the SiteOne portfolio. Functions & Responsibilities Lead the design and estimating efforts under the direction of the Director, Construction, ensuring all site designs are according to field/real estate strategy. Provide detailed project estimates based on approved site designs. Create and manage BIM standards for SiteOne . Assist the Director, Construction with Building energy modeling. Partner with Field Leadership and Marketing to create and maintain design, merchandising, and layout standards. Create 3D site renderings for AHJ applications and presentations. Manage Project Permitting packages. Manage 3rd party Architectural and Engineering firms scope and deliverables. Assist Marketing with site fly-through video clips. Travel as required to meet business needs. Other essential duties and responsibilities as needed. Skills We Are Seeking Thorough knowledge of commercial construction and design, along with a demonstrated proficiency in estimating construction projects. Thorough knowledge of construction codes, environmental impacts/regulations and safety protocols Knowledge of permitting requirements and coordination through government entities. Knowledge of CSI format and project estimating. Management and supervision experience in a corporate environment. Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills Comprehensive computer skills including MS Office software and design/construction software. Possess in-depth knowledge of the landscape supply industry:
products, customers, markets and competitors to ensure projects exceed expectations. Ability to obtain or currently hold Architectural license and LEED certification. EDUCATION AND
Experience:
Degree in Architecture or equivalent experience 5-8 years of industry specific experience 5-8 years of experience managing businesses locally, regionally, or nationally 5-8 years experience Design Manager or relevant role LEED certification preferred Three to five years of construction management software experience 5-8 years experience in AutoDesk REVIT and AutoCAD suite. 5-8 years experience in Adobe Creative suite.
