Position Overview We are seeking a qualified Supply Chain Manager with a proven track record of contributing to improving processes and efficiencies within Supply Chain. This leader will ultimately be responsible for building relationships cross functionally and within our supplier base to negotiate discounts and report out supplier performance to metrics. In Role:
Drive and manage supplier on-boarding to the Distribution Center (DC) Network Partner with Category team to negotiate freight and DC discounts Build relationships with Suppliers and Category team Proactively analyze and identify cost effective discounts Collaborate with both internal and external resources to drive solutions Work with management and other departments to create policies and procedures to govern supplier performance Develop and maintain supplier performance scorecard Analyze supplier metrics to provide action plans Work with management to maintain and continuously improve supplier performance ratings Skills We Are Seeking Qualifications & Requirements:
A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution 5
years working in a supply chain performance management role Advanced negotiation skills Effective team coordination and organization skills Problem-solving skills - needs to assess the situation with suppliers and quickly arrive at a plan for resolution Communication skills - relies heavily on both written and verbal communication when interacting with leadership and suppliers
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Supply Chain & LogisticsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
