Position Overview The Director, Performance Management, reporting to the Senior Vice President of Supply Chain & Operations Excellence, will partner with field leadership, category, supply chain, IT and other functional teams to drive operational excellence and create a sustainable continuous improvement culture throughout the organization. The Director role will have a specific focus on of our main lines of business (Irrigation, Agronomics, Nursery, Hardscapes). In this capacity, the Director will be accountable for serving as the field implementation leader in the creation and implementation of processes, procedures, and standards necessary to realize the strategic and business goals of the line of business. Candidates must have the ability to think critically, prioritize initiatives based on speed to value, and execute flawless programs across 500 branch locations. KEY FACTORS FOR SUCCESS:
Identify & Implement system and/or process improvements that will drive operational efficiency for our branches and improve service to our customers. Create operational excellence roadmap for your line of business and achieve alignment across field and functional leaders. Develop structure for managing initiatives, ensuring that we are executing the fundamentals of operational excellence consistently across the company. Assist field leadership in the development of continuous improvement plans for their B2B businesses and store operations. Use appropriate measurement, analysis, and evaluation methods to accurately identify and document improvements. Accountable for developing appropriate KPI's to assess the effectiveness of our operations and all new programs. Skills We Are Seeking SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Strong prioritization, process improvement, and project management experience in a consulting and/or business environment Demonstrated proficiency managing analytically rigorous initiatives including, but not limited to, defining, refining and implementing operational processes P&L responsibility or an equivalent leadership role. Experience in taking a leadership role to initiate, plan, organize, and complete projects in a cross-functional environment High energy, data driven, and results oriented. Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and presentation skills. Strong project management skills with attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Excellent change management skills. EDUCATION AND
Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent required. An M.B.A., or other relevant advanced degree, training or certification preferred. 7-10
years of experience with events and driving lean transformation with proven results. 7-10
years in role(s) with direct and/or indirect leadership responsibilities Experience from consulting, distribution and /or retail organization. 2-4 years of consulting experience preferred B2B customer strategy for store/field operations highly desirable. Distribution experience a plus. Transformation, Lean, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt/Master Black Belt experience.
Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification
Supply Chain & LogisticsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
