Come grow with our associates who are customer obsessed, always safe, continuously improving, and having fun! #LI-CR1 Position Overview The QA Manager will provide leadership and oversight to the QA eCommerce and Mobile teams. They will also build strong cross functional relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure the team is supporting the business for all QA projects including test planning, test case creation, and execution of functional and regression testing for SiteOne.com and the new customer mobile app. They will also be responsible for collaborating with onshore and offshore teams to build out a new test automation framework and write the supporting automated test scripts. KEY FACTORS FOR SUCCESS:
Lead team of QA professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, daily direction, and growth opportunities for team members Work with departmental stakeholders to accurately translate business stakeholder requirements into project features/functions, and work with all relevant execution team(s) stakeholders to deliver project results Coordinate test case creation and manual testing efforts with offshore QA team Act as key point of contact for QA of releases and report on quality assurance metrics Develop test plans covering functional, regression, integration, and performance testing for a variety of systems Create and execute test cases, document defects and coordinate resolution with the development team Document and track test execution status against targeted release plan Work with Development, Architecture, and Infrastructure teams to review test results and troubleshoot issues Meet with Project Managers, Business Owners, and other Stakeholders to understand acceptance criteria and document test cases Document production defects and identify and add new test cases to Zephyr test suite to prevent future production defects Design and implement test automation scripts using UFT test tool Skills We Are Seeking SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
MANDATORY Experience with requirements analysis, test case development and test execution for large enterprise projects Mobile application testing experience Prior experience leading a software QA team Experience with APIs and API testing tools - Postman, SOAP UI Fundamental knowledge of SQL with the ability to generate and run basic SQL queries for quality testing Excellent problem-solving skills Ability to set priorities and function in a highly dynamic environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to present complex technical information in a clear manner to peers, developers, and senior leaders Motivated to Learn - follow blogs, watch training videos, follow QA trends, etc. Can work independently or with larger teams SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
