Position Overview The primary responsibility of Application Development Lead - Finance role is to support the D365 for Finance and Supply Chain, formerly Microsoft Dynamics AX. This position owns D365 F&O application's new project design, provides technical expertise and leadership, new project development and implementation of enhancement requests. This position oversees the application development process and knowledge base for use by all teams and works with all levels of company and field personnel to find solutions to complex problems. This position provides leadership to the Application development - Finance developers. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Manage a team of Application Developers; act as mentor and coach to team members Provide resource planning and allocation for application developers and their projects Lead new project planning providing design details and development work planning Support application development team while continuing to actively develop new projects and enhancements to D365 F&O and all sub-systems Review and prioritize enhancement request from SiteOne Business Owners Lead design and architecture sessions of new features and modernize existing applications Enable operations developers to diagnose and resolve customer problems and educate users on problem resolutions in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner Prioritize D365 F&O project and enhancement backlogs Work as first line of support for any application issue, troubleshoot and promptly provide root cause analysis of any system issues Be a technical steward responsible for keeping the D365 F&O system running optimally and minimizing technical debt Manage the systems, tools and documentation used by the D365 Finance team Ensure that each support issue and resolution is adequately documented and triaged Track performance and review opportunities for improvement in the Application Development processes, provide status of the team work as needed Lead end to end testing sessions involving multiple systems as needed to complete the project work and move to Production Follow SOX compliance and change management processes, support audit process Additional Functions and Responsibilities Ensure continued project success and team completion of new and existing projects including documentation and process improvement practices Develop team structure as business needs require and change Coordinate with other SiteOne teams and 3rd party vendors as needed Skills We Are Seeking Required Skills and Abilities 5-7 years experience leading implementation of new service-based solutions Degree in computer science, related discipline or equivalent combined education and experience 10 years working with AX, D365 F&O, .Net, SQL Strong understanding of integration technologies including REST/SOAP APIs, Web services, and oData Working knowledge of Azure setup needed for D365 integrations, running reports, transferring files via blob storage, BYOD Understanding of finance and accounting processes including month end, accounts payable, credit and collections, inventory costing Demonstrated leadership competencies including team building, self-confidence, results orientation and interpersonal skills Highly motivated, has positive attitude and able to work independently with little supervision Adeptness to learn new assignments, technologies and applications quickly and manage multiple assignments simultaneously Excellent writing and communication skills Analytical skills necessary to evaluate information from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high level information into details, abstract low level information to general understanding and form an appropriate solution PERKS:

Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
