Position Overview The Product Manager, Internal Search supports the ongoing growth of SiteOne.com by delivering digital change enhancements, new experiences, and continuous improvement initiatives within SiteOne.com internal product and content discoverability (Onsite/Internal Search). This role drives continued business value to our customers by delivering world-class experiences in website internal search relevancy, tuning, and listing results. The Product Manager, Internal Search is an active change-agent leader who owns the key internal search improvements necessary to streamline item, information, and content finding. This role reports into eCommerce/Digital. The role will involve the following:
Optimizes the internal search relevancy experience by creating, managing, and prioritizing the strategy and execution of roadmap and search improvement initiatives Owns and drives search tuning decisions based on data-driven analyses, testing, and field/SME support Participates with IT development teams to manage the product update cycle and backlog priority for both release-dependent and non-release, search configuration changes Partners with various stakeholders including internal Line of Business/Category Management to ensure continuous improvement of search relevancy; collects continuous feedback and performs cadenced group feedback sessions to influence SME-backed tuning Owns stakeholder UAT to ensure improved relevancy, efficacy, and intended context-based search results Owns entirety of internal search product management lifecycle(s) from ideation to online deliverable; including new launch, refreshes, and product evolution Collects and drafts business requirements and outlines user stories to document needs and acceptance criteria Customer-obsessed thinking; provides guidance and resolutions from the perspective of customer ease-of-doing business; pragmatic Define, measure, and present KPIs for internal search values and its contribution to .com success; Regularly shares and reports product updates with leadership Liaison between vendor(s) of choice and internal stakeholders for guidance and roadmap planning Solves complex internal search problems as they arise and provides guidance on how to minimize interruptions while working on permanent solutions Skills We Are Seeking Qualifications and Requirements:

years in a hands-on Product Manager capacity with enterprise Onsite/Internal Search Bachelor's Degree required, ideally in areas of Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field Understanding of Solr V Elastic internal search configuration Experience developing Internal Search KPIs and improvement measuring Experience with iterative product development (Agile) Experience collecting and drafting business req's and articulating end-product results/goals & follow through Excellent communication skills to diverse audiences including senior leadership and business stakeholders Self-starter with excellent follow through - Need to drive projects and meet deadlines with minimal guidance Collaborative work ethic and key contributor of ideas to solve creative needs Strong ability to understand at the macro-level and distill down into actionable work items Strong project management - Ability to multi-task in a timeline-driven environment THE INFORMATION CONTAINED HEREIN IS NOT INTENDED TO BE AN EXHAUSTIVE LIST OF ALL RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED OF INDIVIDUALS PERFORMING THE JOB. Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
