Come grow with our associates who are customer obsessed, always safe, continuously improving, and having fun! #LI-CR1 Position Overview The Application Development Lead's primary responsibility is to support the Unity Enterprise, point of sale application. This position owns application architecture and design, provides technical expertise, support for customer issues, system stability and performance of UE. This position oversees building a knowledge base for use by all teams and works with all levels of company and field personnel to find solutions to complex problems. This position provides leadership to the Application development maintenance team members. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Manage a team of Application Operations developers; act as mentor and coach to team members Maintain SLA for all UE Service Now Tickets - Maintenance and Enhancements Lead design and architecture sessions of new features and modernize existing applications Enable operations developers to diagnose and resolve customer problems and educate users on problem resolutions in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner Provide weekly metrics on health of the application, issue tickets, error logs etc. Prioritize software support log(s), monitoring solutions and engage appropriate internal resources to resolve technical issues and update our customers on progress toward resolution Work as first line of support for any application issue and promptly provide RCA of any system issues Be the technical steward responsible for keeping the UE system running optimally and reducing technical debt Manage the systems, tools and documentation used by the Support team. Ensure that each support issue and resolution is adequately documented and triaged Track performance and identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement Efficiently take over support of new projects post-production Additional Functions and Responsibilities Ensure continued production of the team's documentation including maintenance and accessibility of documentation for internal resources. Develop team structure as business needs require and change. Skills We Are Seeking 5-7 years experience leading implementation of new service-based solutions. Degree in computer science, related discipline or equivalent combined education and experience. 10 years working with .Net SQL, Retail Systems Demonstrated leadership competencies including team building, self-confidence, results orientation and interpersonal skills. Highly motivated and able to work independently with little supervision. Adeptness to learn new assignments, technologies and applications quickly and manage multiple assignments simultaneously. Excellent writing and communication skills. Analytical skills necessary to evaluate information from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high level information into details, abstract low level information to general understanding and form an appropriate solution. Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification
